Dragon Nursery Theme: Getting Started

Not sure how to start with the dragon nursery theme? Then you need to choose a style first. This can be cartoon dragons, elegant fantasy ones or just about anything in between. You might find that inspiration comes from a specific book or movie.

To get inspired, look at some dragon images online. You can just go to Google Images and search for dragons. There will be a range of images turned up and these can serve as your inspiration.

Colors are wide open so you might find that it helps to pick out a specific color, too. Blue, purple, red, green and silver are all excellent colors for a dragon nursery theme. Depending on how far you want to go with the theme, you may wish to look for wall murals, as well. These can take up an entire wall or half a wall and are great for setting the mood in a nursery.

Once you have a good idea of what you want, it’s time to decide just how far you want to take the nursery theme. Will you stick to a dragon mobile and bedding with a few toys? Or do you want to go all the way and turn it into a one of a kind themed bedroom for your child?

As your little one grows, he or she may enjoy the dragon theme, so you might want to look at making it something they can grow with. Cartoon or baby dragons are lovely for a baby nursery, but you might want to work on something a bit more streamlined if you want something that your child can grow with and still enjoy as an older child.

A dragon nursery theme is a lot of fun. You can really spend some time designing the room and making it into a beautiful nursery that your child will love.
